Red Ribbon Week

During Red Ribbon Week we will focus on educating students about the importance of saying “no” to the use of alcohol, tobacco, and other dangerous drugs due to their harmful effects on our lives. We will also celebrate saying “no” to bullying and encourage building successful friendships. See the schedule below that outlines the activities we will take part in to celebrate a drug-free and bully free lifestyle!

Monday 10/24 - Red ribbons will be given out to pledge for a drug and bully free lifestyle.

Tuesday 10/25 - “Decorate Me Drug and Bully Free!” Wear red accessories (hats, jewelry, headbands, belts, scarves, socks, ties, etc.).

Wednesday 10/26 - “Drug Free is the Choice for Me!” Wear red shirts to show unity and the choice to say no to drugs and bullying.

Thursday 10/27 - Grades K-2 Music Showcase costumes. Grades 3-5 “Sandersville is Drug and Bully Free” Wear Sandersville spirit wear and Sandersville colors (purple and teal).

Friday 10/28 - Grades K-2 “Sandersville is Drug and Bully Free” Wear Sandersville spirit wear and Sandersville colors (purple and teal). Grades 3-5 Music Showcase costumes.
